The main difference
Both turn a Twitch stream into posted vertical clips, and they share a name but not a maker. HypeCut at hypecut.tv waits for a trigger: you press a hotkey or a Stream Deck button, or a viewer clips, and it edits and posts from there. Hypecut at hypecut.stream has nothing to press and nothing to install on your streaming PC: it reads your chat while you’re live, clips the moments chat reacts to with the build-up kept, writes the hook, and holds every video for your approval.
When Hypecut fits
- You stream on Twitch and want clips made while you’re live, not after.
- You want the moments your chat actually reacted to, with the build-up kept.
- You want every video ready to post (9:16, hook, captions) and posted when you approve it, or by itself once you turn on auto-post.
When HypeCut (hypecut.tv) fits
- You want to pick each moment yourself, with a hotkey or a Stream Deck button.
- You stream on YouTube, Kick or TikTok, or clip podcasts and recordings through OBS.
- You want clips posted the moment they’re ready, hands off, on a schedule.
