How Hypecut works

Hypecut is a live stream clipper for Twitch streamers. It listens to your chat while you stream, and when chat goes off it clips the moment, cuts it vertical and writes the hook. Hypecut doesn’t guess from the audio or wait for the VOD. It listens to the people who were there.

Posting to Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels from Hypecut is coming soon. Until then, save each video from Clips and post it yourself.

Chat picks the moments

Hypecut starts listening when you go live and learns your chat’s normal pace. When it spikes (emote spam, ALL CAPS, “clip it”), it clips the moment. One spammer can’t set it off.

Cut vertical, hook written

Hypecut finds the cut, frames your facecam and gameplay for a phone and writes the hook on screen. The video lands in your Clips, 9:16 and ready to review.

You decide what posts

Every video waits in To review. Approve the ones you like and post each one in a tap, or let a channel’s biggest moments post themselves.

A hook on every clip, in your look

Hypecut writes the hook and draws it in one of ten looks, or one you make yourself. Change the words, the key word and how long it shows before you post.

The looks: Label, Dark label, Bold caps, Headline, Subtitle, Neon, Comic, Classic, Outline, Highlight.

In numbers

  • 0 things to add to your stream: Hypecut reads your chat and makes its clips through Twitch, so your stream stays exactly as it is.
  • 20s of build-up: kept before chat reacts, so every clip shows what they reacted to. Set it from 5 to 25 seconds on each channel.
  • 9:16 on every video: Facecam and gameplay framed for a phone, with the hook on screen.

What Hypecut doesn’t do

  • It doesn’t need anything installed on your streaming PC, an OBS plugin or a bot in your chat.
  • It doesn’t wait for the VOD or ask you to upload anything.
  • Nothing posts unless you say so: every video waits for you to approve it, unless you turn on auto-post for its channel.
  • It doesn’t clip Kick or YouTube streams yet. Both are on the way.

Your next clip is already in chat.

Add your channel before your next stream and let chat pick the moments.
