What the app adds
- Notifications with buttons: approve a new video or press Clip now from the alert without opening the app; Post, Save, Watch and Make highlight open it on the right clip.
- The Live Activity: while a channel is live, the Lock Screen and the Dynamic Island show its chat heating up and the clips landing, with Clip now and Pause right there.
- Widgets: To review, with your newest clip’s picture; Live channels, each with a Clip button; and the Lock Screen’s credits gauge and a line for what’s live.
- Clip now from anywhere: Siri (“Clip it with Hypecut”), Spotlight, Shortcuts, Control Center, the Lock Screen and the Action button.
- Save straight to Photos, and the same clip editor, looks and captions as the web.
Same account, same clips
Sign in with the account you use at hypecut.stream, or make one in the app. Your channels, clips, credits and connections are the same everywhere: review a clip on your phone, post it from your desk, or the other way round.
Your plan and credits are shared too. One credit makes one video wherever you ask for it.
Set it up
- Get Hypecut from the App Store and sign in, or create your account.
- Allow notifications, so you hear the moment a clip is ready and can approve it from the alert.
- Connect your Twitch account and add your channel, if you haven’t on the web.
- Add a widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen, and Clip now to the Action button if your iPhone has one.
On Android or iPad
There’s no Android app. Open hypecut.stream in Chrome and choose Install app (or Add to Home screen) from the menu: it opens full screen from your home screen, with a notification when a clip is ready. On an iPad, Safari’s Share menu has Add to Home Screen.
